USI president joins calls for ban on cruel hare coursing

The president of the Union of Students in Ireland has joined calls for a ban on cruel hare coursing.

In a tweet, Annie Hoey stated: "How anyone can support such a cruel blood sport is utterly beyond me."

The 2016-17 USI President added: "I cannot comprehend how people get joy out of torment. #BanHareCoursing"
